Pudina Wati (also known as Mint Bati or Goli) is a popular Indian digestive candy and palate cleanser. It is a traditional Ayurvedic-inspired preparation that combines the cooling properties of mint with potent digestive spices.
The production of Pudina Wati involves blending concentrated extracts of fresh mint (Pudina Satva) with a base of digestive salts and warming spices. These ingredients are ground into a fine paste, bound with natural gums or glucose, and pressed into small, spherical or disc-shaped tablets. Unlike soft candies, Pudina Wati is designed to be hard and slow-dissolving, allowing the medicinal essential oils to be released gradually.
Best before 6 months from the date of manufacture. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, transfer to an airtight container and consume within 30 days.
